How we cover an event
Every event shoot starts with a planning call. We walk the run-of-show with you, flag the moments that matter, and build a shot list around them. On the day, that plan is what keeps us out of the way. A crew that knows where to stand doesn’t need to hover in front of your guests.
Coverage is layered. Locked cameras hold the stage so nothing on the program is missed. A roaming shooter works the floor for the texture that sells an event. Conversations, hands on product, the room filling up. Where the program calls for it, we take a board feed or run our own microphones so the speeches are usable.
The edit is where one day of filming becomes several deliverables. A highlight film for the event page, vertical cutdowns for Instagram and TikTok, a loop for the sponsor booth, and clean clips your team can post as they are. That list gets agreed on before the shoot, so we film for all of it.

We also scale to the job. A two-hour launch doesn’t need four shooters, and a three-day conference can’t be covered by one, and we’ll say which one your event needs when we quote it.

- How quickly do we get the footage?
- A same-week social cutdown is standard. The full highlight film is typically delivered within two weeks of the event. If you need next-morning content for a multi-day conference, tell us early and we build that into the crew plan.
- Do you film events outside Calgary?
- Yes. Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Canmore, and Banff are all in our regular service area, and travel within it is built into the quote.
- Can you work alongside our photographer or AV company?
- Yes. We coordinate positions and audio feeds with your existing vendors in advance so nobody is fighting for the same sight line during the keynote.
